LDMHA Annual General Meeting

The AGM will take place Monday 28-May-2012 @ 7pm in the Neils Pind Room at the Lakefield Arena. All are welcome.

2012 Hockey Registration

Hockey Registration for the fall will take place Friday 15-Jun-2012 from 6-8pm and Saturday 16-Jun-2012 from 9am-noon in the Lakefield Arena lobby.

Midget AE International Silver Stick Finalists

After winning the Silver Stick Regional Tournament in Minden in December, the Lakefield Chiefs Midget AE team (sponsored by Morris Chemicals and Lakefield Foodland) qualified for the 13th Annual International Silver Stick AE tournament in Niagara Falls.

Round-robin play at the International Tournament saw the Midget AE's play the Atlanta Phoenix from Georgia, the PAL Silver Kings from Pennsylvania, and the Caledonia Thunder and Barrie Colts from Ontario.

Despite some challenging games, the Lakefield Chiefs Midget AE team moved on to the semi-final game, where they beat the Collingwood Blackhawks in double-overtime 3-2, to earn a spot in the final game.

Facing the Barrie Colts once again, the Midget AE's were downed 7-4.
